The beauty of Russian music featuring symphonies by Prokofiev and Shostakovich, contemporary music written for the evening by José Evangelista and Ravel’s beautiful “Concerto in G”: this is an evening of extraordinary colour to close the season. Our guest pianist will be Alexandre Tharaud whose recordings of music by Ravel have been praised worldwide.
