In 2007, I Musici de Montréal was the resident orchestra at the Cartagena International Music Festival. There, Yuli Turovsky discovered a stunning Brazilian tenor, Fernando Portari, who now appears in operatic productions around the world. With I Musici de Montréal, he will perform Britten’s Les Illuminations, set to sublime poems of Rimbaud, and a selection of favorite operatic arias – a true lyrical feast to conclude our 26th season.
